Heat Things Up with the Sirocco Stove Fan
Have you ever wished you had something you could just take straight from the box, put on top of the stove, and then fill the room with much-needed hot air and warmth? That’s what the Sirocco stove fan can do for you.
The Sirocco eco stove fan is a heat-powered, wood burning fan with a unique triple blade design. Made by Hansa, the Sirocco holds the prestige of being the grandest thermoelectric stove fan in terms of size. Its airflow of 350 m³/h is exceptional, and definitely makes it stand out.
Why is this the best choice for me?
The Sirocco is only one of all the options available when you’re choosing your log burner fan and other stove fans. It is however one of the best choices you can make, for the following reasons:
- It’s fuel-efficient.
If heat is what you want, you have to accept that you’ll burn a lot of fuel. Right? Not necessarily.
What the Sirocco stove fan does is it takes the warm air from the stove before it can reach the ceiling, making sure that every corner of your room is filled with warm air. It increases your stove’s efficiency and multiplies its heating potential, so if you have this fan, you don’t even need to burn additional fuel.Because of what the fan can do to the heat, the warm air also circulates so much quicker. So even if you’re still technically burning fuel by using the stove, you don’t have to keep it on for too long because you have the stove fan to help you produce the heat that you need in the quickest way possible. - You save a lot.
Aside from what you save by not using up too much fuel, the Sirocco also costs nothing to operate. All you have to do, literally, is put the fan on top of the stove, and then wait for the surface to be heated up. The Sirocco is capable of generating its own electricity, so you don’t even have to deal with all the hassle of batteries and power cords. This is because the heated surface of the Sirocco is large, and just by heating up this surface (by putting it on top of the stove), it can already generate a really large amount of power. What this means is that even if the heating process is over and done with, it can still operate for a longer period of time and continue to bring warmth to the room. The heat is maximized to its full efficiency, so you don’t have to keep worrying about added costs. - It does the work for you.
This fan is also self-regulating, and that will save you from a lot of trouble. Basically, it operates as soon as the stove reaches an internal temperature of 50°C/120ºF. The heat could go up to 300°C/570ºF, and the fan catches this heat and spreads it across the room. The hotter the stove gets, the faster the fan blade velocity. Once it cools down, the fan goes slower as well, until it stops altogether. This entire process is self-regulating, so the temperature-speed balance remains constant and requires no maintenance. You can literally leave it there, and it will do the work for you. If you want to get technical, the thermoelectric module in the base transforms the rising heat into mechanical energy that operates the fan blade. This, too, requires no maintenance. - You wouldn’t even notice it’s there.
Apart from the fact that your room will most certainly have the warmth that you’re craving for, you’ll hardly notice that it’s there. For one, this stove fan comes out of the box ready to use.
There is practically no installation required, so you don’t have to mull over confusing instructions and deal with putting small pieces together. Because it’s so easy to operate and it can fast become a normal part of your household, you’ll soon forget that you have this new stove fan in the first place. More importantly, the Sirocco was designed for silent operation. You don’t have to deal with the noise that you get from a lot of other fans.
Can I trust the maker?
The Sirocco has some pretty great features, but that’s not all it has going for it. You also get a 24-month warranty so you really know that they know what they’re doing. This product is also made in the EU, with only the best quality materials.

This is what you get when you heat things up with your Sirocco stove fan.
What is the Sirocco Plus stove fan designed for?
For many years the owners of inset stoves have been excluded from the fan market, but now Hansa, the manufacturers of the exceptional Sirocco Stove Fan, has introduced the first fan solution for an inset stove – The Sirocco Plus. The doors of the inset stove work much like a regular radiator; the heat of the doors warm the air around them and the warm air rises, as it cools it sinks back down completing the circle. Which means the warm air is up on the ceiling and the air in the main body of the room is cooler.
The new Sirocco Plus Fan comes with a vertical mounting kit so it can be hung from the doors harnessing the energy to power the fan blades, much like a stove top mounted fan, circulating the warm air and squeezing all the warmth from the stove into the room. It heats the room up to 30% faster than without a fan and can save up to 20% on fuel costs.
